If you have an emergency situation such as a fire, life, or safety issue, please call 911.

If you have an urgent maintenance issue requiring our immediate attention, such as no heat or frozen or burst pipes, call us immediately: (541) 385-1515

Ensure the furnace filter and thermostat batteries have been changed recently. For electric heat, try flipping the breakers on the electrical panel. If you have cadet heaters, try resetting them. If unsure how to do this, refer to online sources. For gas furnaces, be sure the gas service is turned on and the pilot light is lit. If the pilot light is out, please refer to online sources to relight the pilot light, or complete a maintenance request for further clarification.

Check to see if all GFI switches in the kitchen and surrounding rooms are reset. Also, most garbage disposals have a red reset bottom on the bottom of them that may need reset. If this does not work, try using an Allen wrench on the bottom of the disposal unit, turning clockwise to clear out debris. Most service calls for garbage disposals are found to be caused by misuse, so it is important that you try these tips prior to our sending a handyman.

You can call our office at 541-385-1515 or email to info@rentingoregon.com to make an appointment during our regular business hours, Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Please keep in mind that if the property is not available until a future date, it may still be occupied by a current tenant. If you would like to see an occupied property, we will gladly call the tenants to schedule with them, but please keep in mind we must give them at least 24 hours notice and we always try to work with their busy schedules as well. We ask that you drive-by the properties before calling to schedule an appointment. As a reminder, please do not disturb our residents by coming onto their property or asking them to show you their home.

This is a safety precaution for our employee meeting you at the property. Our in-office staff must always know who our employees are with and where they are. The received ID is scanned to a secure server, and any hard copy is placed in SecureShred. You can provide ID by faxing 541-385-6767, scanning and emailing to info@rentingoregon.com, or taking a picture with your smartphone and emailing to info@rentingoregon.com.

Please refer to the individual property listing, each home is separately owned and each owner may have a different pet policy. Please note, if the listing says “small pets considered” this usually means only pets under 35 lbs. will be considered. The majority of the property owners ask for an additional refundable deposit of $500 PER PET, but again, an individual owner may ask for more or less than that amount. The decision by the owner to accept a certain type or number of pets is made during the application process.

We process completed applications in the order they are received at our office. They are only complete if they are fully filled out, with the accompanying applicant screening charge, copy of ID, and proof of income. Please remember that ANYONE over 18 who is going to live at the home must fill out an application. Due to the confidential nature of the information, we are not able to accept applications at the showings. You may submit applications by email, fax, or in person at our office. You may submit the applicant screening charge by cash or check at our office or by the “Pay Your Bill Online” button on our website. Due to the variety of ways that we accept applications, please call our office after submission to confirm receipt of both the application and the applicant screening charge.

You can move out of the property at anytime by giving our office a signed 30 day notice, and by paying rent and utilities through the end of that notice. However, if your lease ending date is after the end of your 30 day notice, you will be subject to an additional lease buy out fee. This fee is typically equal to 1 and 1/2 months rent, but please refer to your lease agreement for the specific amount.
